The mixed-use development, which has been in the works since around 2014, tells a common story in Dallas-Fort Worth, especially in its suburbs. Developers are looking to transform mostly residential neighborhoods into upscale live-work-play destinations with more density.

Crown Centre II is now open for leasing off SH 121 and Windhaven Parkway at Castle Hills in Lewisville, according to a Sept. 17 news release from project developer Bright Realty.

Bright Realty has completed Crown Centre II, a $50 million project that features a four-story, 147,000-square-foot office building located at SH 121 Sam Rayburn Tollway and Windhaven Parkway.

Nearly three years after being annexed by the city of Lewisville and adding around 18,000 residents to its population, the 2,568-acre Castle Hills area continues to grow.

Several new businesses have opened at The Realm Castle Hills in Lewisville. There were 10 new businesses that opened in 2023. There are 10 more scheduled to open in 2024.
