About Castle Hills

Castle Hills is a highly successful 2,900-acre master-planned community in the North Dallas suburb of Lewisville, Texas. Founded in 1997, it comprises single-family homes, town homes, garden homes, detached luxury villas and estate homes. Residents enjoy a luxury golf course, shopping, parks, lakes, on-site schools, swimming pools, hike-and-bike trails, and multiple community centers.

Castle Hills is a beautifully designed community with meandering streets and wide parkways and sidewalks. Castle Hills offers a small-town feel in an otherwise urban environment and on-site conveniences such as shopping and community events.

Guiding principles of development and management:

  • Comprehensive research, planning and long-term strategic vision
  • Environmentally sensitive development and operations practices
  • Outstanding and memorable customer service
  • Community involvement and enrichment programs
  • Maximizing the value of each property and enhancing the lives of residents, tenants, vendors and the community

Parks

The Bright Realty vision for Castle Hills includes private spaces that nurture the human spirit and preserves the land. Castle Hills has over 25 parks throughout the residential community. Castle Hills was designed so that every home is within walking distance of a park. Bright Realty created parks for children that were designed to encourage imaginative play. Examples of these parks include Echo Park, Fire Truck Park and Dragon Park. Other parks and green spaces are inviting to residents of all ages. Additionally, Bright Realty self manages its homeowners association, which maintains the landscaping of every park and common area in Castle Hills so that they can endure for future generations.

History

The Bright family acquired the first piece of property that eventually became Castle Hills in 1952. This land served as the Bright Family Farm for years and was the setting of the children’s fondest memories growing up. Out of love for this family heirloom, the Bright’s later decided to develop their land as a diverse and sustainable community with a master plan.

Castle Hills Village Shops

The Castle Hills Village Shops & Plaza was established in 2003 to offer space for retail and office, along with outdoor shopping, dining and entertainment plaza. The Village Shops & Plaza consists of approximately 142,000 square feet with 40 tenants. The Village Shops & Plaza supports Bright Realty's primary planning principles by creating an environment that encourages community and invites human interaction.
